Challenges for Mississippi State
With the Crimson Tide coming off a harrowing loss to Tennessee, this might be a good time to face Alabama. Conversely, it could be a very bad time to face the Tide. Has Nick Saban ever lost back-to-back games? Not since 2015. The only thing State can do is make sure they are as well-prepared as possible for Alabama. Prepared especially for Bryce Young who is still among the best quarterbacks nationally. In the loss at Tennessee, Young had 455 yards passing for two touchdowns and no interceptions. He’s got 1,657 yards passing for 16 touchdowns. The road to beating Bama requires limiting the effectiveness of Young and Bama’s offense.
