Vanderbilt-Oklahoma Prediction
The Vanderbilt Commodores almost scored a huge win. How many times have you read that sentence over the years? One year, it’s Kentucky slipping away in Rupp Arena. The next, it’s the Vols somehow tiptoeing out of Memorial Gym with a victory. Now Vanderbilt has to absorb that immense disappointment and find a way to get energized for this road trip to Oklahoma. The Sooners have been better than expected without Trae Young – maybe not a lot better than expected, but enough to be in the NCAA Tournament conversation. Vanderbilt is clearly playing spoiler, while Oklahoma – a solid team at home – is trying to avoid seeing its season get spoiled. If Vanderbilt had beaten Tennessee, it would have come into Norman with supreme confidence. Now? The air might be out of the balloon, at least for one day. Oklahoma 75, Vanderbilt 68. (Matt Zemek)
