Challenges for Vanderbilt
Vandy’s has had a miserable season so far and is the only team left in the SEC without a victory. This weekend that could change when the Northern Illinois Huskies visit Nashville. The challenge for Vandy is to put together a complete game and finish. The Commodores have some talent. They showed that against LSU in scoring 38 points. There were also positives in the opening loss to Georgia. Vandy’s defense held the Bulldogs just 2-of-7 on third-down conversions. This is a game Vandy can win but they also can lose if they show up thinking they don’t have to play hard to win.
