Challenges for South Carolina
Carolina’s challenge is to get the running game going. Last week in the 20-point loss at Missouri the Gamecocks had a grand total of 16 yards rushing. The Gamecocks need to win this game if they are to have any reasonable chance to get to a bowl. The schedule gets much rougher the deeper the Gamecocks get into the 2019 season. Even if the Gamecocks do win on Saturday they will still need a win over Georgia, Clemson, Florida or at Texas A&M to get bowl eligible.
Saturday‘s game kicks off at 6:30 PM CT (7:30 PM ET). Watch on the SEC Network.
