Challenges for Arkansas

The Arkansas football team may have grown up in last weekend’s game with Colorado State. The Razorback’s out-scored the Rams 21-0 in the fourth quarter to get their second win of the 2019 season, matching their 2018 win total. A win this weekend over another Western team, San Jose State, will at least send a message to Hog boosters and the administration that they Razorbacks are improving in the stat that matters the most: wins. Quarterback Josh Love leads the Ram offense. Love has completed 60 percent of his passes for 413 yards, 3 TDs, and no interceptions in two games. The Spartans have three different running backs who split carries and averaged together about 135 rushing yards per game. Linebacker Ethan Aguayo leads San Jose State in tackles with 34. He also has two tackles for losses including a sack. The challenge for Arkansas is to be focused and prepared mentally after an emotional win last weekend.

Saturday‘s game kicks off at 6:30 PM CT (7:30 PM ET). Watch on the SEC Network.
