Challenges for Tennessee
The Vols need to have their defense ready for Vandy QB Kyle Shurmur who has torched UT throughout his career. Vandy RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn is one of the top running backs in the SEC.
Challenges for Vanderbilt
Vandy can’t afford to feed an opportunistic UT defense with turnovers and sacks that will setup easy Vol scores. The Commodores haven’t beaten UT three times in a row since the 1920s. They need to stay focused on executing in this game and not be caught counting their chickens before they hatch.
