Challenges for LSU
Hosting Alabama Baton Rouge presents an excellent opportunity for the Tigers. One area in which LSU could exploit Alabama is in the penalty department. Alabama is ranked 121st nationally out of 131 teams in penalty yards per game. With the thunderous Death Valley noise could cause various procedures and offsides penalties that could help the Tiger cause. Alabama also has a poor punting game ranking just 105th nationally in net punting. Besides the aforementioned two areas, LSU still has to figure out how to stop Bryce Young, last season’s Heisman Trophy winner who has 18 touchdown passes so far this season.
Saturday‘s game kicks off at 6:00 PM CT (7:00 PM ET). Watch this SEC football game on the ESPN Network.
