Challenges for Auburn
FCS Alabama State opened with a 14-13 win over Miles on Saturday. Six-foot-4, 200 pound Ryan Nettles completed 20 of 30 passes for 197 yards. The Hornets’ kicker Cosmin Diaconu missed a potential game-winning field goal late in the fourth quarter but later got another try and Diaconu made a 24-yarder to get the win. The Hornets finished their short spring season with a 2-2 record. Sleeping while walking can be dangerous for your health in college football but Auburn should win this one handily.
