Challenges for Florida
In an opening weekend filled with many mismatches, this is actually a decent game. You have an emerging in-state rivalry. FAU is not horrible, the Owls finished the 2020 season with a 5-4 record (4-2 CUSA). This would be an interesting game to watch but unfortunately, it’s scheduled at the same time as the mammoth Georgia-Clemson matchup. All that said, I expect this to end up as a lopsided game with Florida scoring in the 40s or 50s.
Saturday‘s game kicks off at 6:30 PM CT (7:30 PM ET). You can watch this SEC football game on the SEC Network Network.
