Challenges for Missouri
This looks like a dangerous opening opponent for Missouri. MAC teams have long been an Achilles heel for Power Conference teams. This CMU team is far from the worst team in the MAC. It probably won’t contend for the conference title but if CMU can improve on its 2020 third-down conversion rate (28%), they might be able to cause Missouri some problems. Mizzou should win this game but they must not take the Chippewas lightly.
