Texas A&M-LSU Prediction
Had LSU won a week ago against Florida, this might be more of a trap game for the Tigers. This is the third game of a three-game homestand for the Bayou Bengals, who did a lot of heavy lifting on the road before coming back to Baton Rouge to face the Gators, then Tennessee on Saturday, and now the Aggies. After an emotional win against the Vols, LSU could very easily fall victim to a low-energy performance against A&M. For that reason, this game could become interesting. Moreover, Billy Kennedy has improved the Aggies in recent weeks, building a measure of hope for the 2019-2020 season. A&M is not the same team it was in early January. That said, the fact that LSU lost to Florida on a night when the Tigers weren’t fully locked in will enable Will Wade to tell his players to be vigilant. That will help them here. LSU 71, Texas A&M 64. (Matt Zemek)
