Ole Miss-Georgia Prediction

The Ole Miss Rebels temporarily stopped the bleeding this past Wednesday against Texas A&M, but they did not look convincing in a four-point home win over one of the worst teams in the SEC. They will have to be better than that when they go on the road this weekend. Georgia might not be better than A&M, but the Dawgs can be tough at home, and if Ole Miss isn’t on its game, the Rebels can certainly be picked off. The NCAA Tournament bubble is so weak that Ole Miss is still right in the thick of the hunt despite its struggles over the past three weeks. This game against Georgia won’t elevate the quality of Ole Miss’s resume, but a loss would noticeably damage it. This is a gut-check moment for the Rebels under Kermit Davis. Will they pass the test? It will be close. Ole Miss 73, Georgia 69. (Matt Zemek)
