Missouri-Arkansas Prediction

This is an Ozark desperation game which has nothing to do with the Netflix series relating to the Mexican drug cartel and riverboat casinos. This is a much less violent and threatening game, but it still is a matter of survival for postseason aspirations. Missouri did throttle Texas A&M over the past weekend, so the Tigers can’t be completely dismissed just yet from the hunt for a bid in the NIT, though they are fighting an uphill battle. Arkansas isn’t supposed to be in a position where it has to fight for an NIT bid. That should never be a concern for the Hogs, but here they are, mired in misery and ineffectiveness heading into the latter portion of January. Can Missouri play two straight great road games? That is the question which needs to be asked. Skepticism is warranted. Arkansas 69, Missouri 66. (Matt Zemek)
