Kentucky-Florida Prediction
The Tennessee Volunteers went to Florida, trailed for much of the game, received a very tough challenge, but surged in the final six minutes to overpower the Gators and win in Gainesville. One should expect Kentucky to receive a similarly robust challenge from Florida, which is right on the bubble and can dearly use a high-end win to increase its margins as February begins and Selection Sunday begins to come into fuller view. Florida benefited earlier this week from Ole Miss deciding not to foul in the final few seconds of regulation when leading by three points. The Gators have to feel they stole one. The good news: They will feel upbeat heading into this game against Kentucky. The bad news: They know they are not playing well enough and need to dramatically improve against the surging Wildcats. Will they? Skepticism is warranted. Kentucky 75, Florida 68. (Matt Zemek)
