Georgia-Arkansas Prediction

The Georgia Bulldogs and Arkansas Razorbacks need to survive this game so that they can hunt resume-building opportunities in February and beyond. Both teams played well this past Saturday in the SEC-Big 12 Challenge, but only Georgia pulled out a win, in part due to playing at home whereas Arkansas had to go on the road. Both teams have to be encouraged about their progress, but the Dawgs and Hogs know that whenever they have made any progress this season, it hasn’t lasted very long. This is a time to sustain an upward trend. Georgia has to reduce its turnover count after an explosive but sloppy performance against Texas. Arkansas has to know that if it can compete hard in every game the way it did at Texas Tech, it should improve. Give the Hogs the benefit of the doubt at home. Arkansas 69, Georgia 66. (Matt Zemek)

Game Time: 7 ET, 6 CT, on ESPNU
