Georgia-Alabama Prediction
The Georgia Bulldogs are just trying to learn how to play better in a complete rebuilding year under Tom Crean. They fought hard against South Carolina this past weekend but couldn’t grab the game’s most important rebounds or get enough defensive stops against Chris Silva and the rest of the Gamecocks. Georgia has been able to put its best foot forward once in a great while, but never with the steadiness of a good team. Whatever the Bulldogs do doesn’t carry through a full week. This isn’t likely to get the job done against an Alabama team which is smarting from a decisive loss to archrival Auburn over the weekend. Alabama has been poor on the road and strong at home this season. Expect this erratic but experienced team to reach high Tide against the Dawgs. Alabama 73, Georgia 62. (Matt Zemek)
