Arkansas-South Carolina Prediction

This isn’t the sexiest game on Saturday in the SEC, but it is very intriguing. South Carolina’s season had been going in the right direction, but the detour to Oklahoma State for a non-conference game broke this team’s groove, and the Gamecocks are trying to get that groove back. It is true that playing Tennessee and Kentucky in recent weeks has not helped. Nevertheless, South Carolina has been knocked off course. Arkansas is going in the opposite direction. The Hogs have found new hope thanks to a win at LSU and a big late bucket to survive an upset bid from Vanderbilt. Can Arkansas get on a roll, or will South Carolina regroup at home? It’s anyone’s guess. This feels like a 50-50 game. I’m not sure Arkansas will be consistent enough to pull through again on the road. South Carolina 69, Arkansas 68. (Matt Zemek)
