The No. 1 Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team defeated Illinois State to improve to 13-2 on the season. JJ Bleday and Stephen Clarke both had home runs. The win was Commodore head coach Tim Corbin’s 800th victory of his career. Vanderbilt and the RedBirds played one final game immediately following the game 2 win.
