Challenges for Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt visits Notre Dame for the second time ever. The last time, in 1995, didn’t go too well with the ‘Dores falling 41-0. But we are in a new age of Vanderbilt football, an age when the Commodores usually have at least a shot to win against 90 percent of the teams in the FBS. If Vandy can go up there focused on football and not get overwhelmed by the history and lore of Notre Dame, then they at least have a chance to win. One tidbit: Vanderbilt safety Zaire Jones will play against Notre Dame according to reports on social media.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 1:30 pm CT and can be seen on NBC.
