Mississippi State led by 15 with seven minutes to go. Kentucky outscored them 24-2 the rest of the way to win 81-74. When Kentucky plays the way they are capable of playing, they're good. For some reason, they often go long stretches where they don't do that.

Free throws: UK-24 Ms St-9 . It seems I’ve heard that story before. It’s ironic that we play UK after they had played 2 nights before both times this year. Maybe they will have tired legs…I believe that certainly helped our cause in the first game.
