Andre Mintze makes Denver's 53-man roster

Congratulations to Andre, who was an undrafted free agent signing for the Broncos and worked extremely hard to make the team.

Absolutely awesome! I'd read an article recently that said Andre had a lot of intangibles that made him attractive to the NFL... let the record show, he learned those intangibles under the Derek Mason staff. I truly believe Mason did a great job developing him. All Vandy fans should be very proud of him.

Looks like Khari Blasingame has survived with the Titans, but he's the only Commodore to do so.

Kyle Shurmur was cut by the Bengals, even though he had a stellar game vs. Miami over the weekend, but I think he will likely make the practice squad.

Looks like big Adam Butler, my favorite Vanderbilt player of all time, made the Dolphins.

Ke'shawn Vaughn made the final roster for Tampa.

JMatt, trying to make the team as a TE, was cut today by the Niners.

Ladler was last seen in the CFL, but decided to retire from football this summer prior to the start of the season.

Skule is on IR with the Niners and will miss the season with a torn ACL.

Also, Will Holden (not listed above) was released by the Colts today, as was Kyle Shurmur (Bengals), Emmanuel Smith (Chiefs) and Jared Pinkney (Titans). They and JMatt could still make the practice roster.

I think everyone else on that list is on the 53-man roster for now.
