I think if we go 5-4 in those 9 games we are in good shape. More than 5 wins and we are in GREAT shape.

I started to say that, but couldn't make myself say 5-4. Ha.geeznotagain wrote: ↑Sun Apr 09, 2023 12:13 amI think if we go 5-4 in those 9 games we are in good shape. More than 5 wins and we are in GREAT shape.

We have won every series this year - we could easily have swept Mo that swept UT - why the pessimism? SC probably best of next 3 and we get them at home next. Lets beat them and recalibrate. I think we go 2-1 vs SC.

Perhaps a bit off topic but... Futrell's delivery reminds me of Steve Avery's. Avery pitched for the Braves several years ago with Smoltz and Glavine. Futrell's ball comes in with a twist that is hard to connect with. I don't think he throws a straight ball typically. He is fun to watch if you are a Vandy fan. Not so much for the opposition. Go Vandy!

Always hopeful; rarely optimistic.
