2023 National Champions! I still think Stoerner never fumbled in 1998 or whenever the game was that kept UT undefeated; should have lost to Memphis that season and played a very weak Florida State (by comparison to other seasons) team in the National Championship Game. Only if it is in Tennessee's favor can the ground cause a fumble! It was different I admit, but the ground clearly caused the fumble!

Btw, i was driving around looking for a pool table for my Dad's house, listening to that game (IN 96- i had to look it up). I don't know who was more surprised at the outcome- Peyton Manning, John Ward, Bill Anderson, UT fans, UT players, UM Tigers, or me.
