Re: Black & Gold game: Date/ time & TV?
April 16, 1 pm. The SEC Network always televises them now, although sometimes on delay. Vandy’s game is going up against several other schools that day including national champion Georgia.

Any update on tv for the game?
Will it be live on SECN?
(Assume I am too lazy/ too much of an imbecile to use secn+)

The game will only be shown live on SEC Network+. A cursory look at the SEC Network schedule appears to show that every school's spring game will only be on SEC Network+.

Re: Black & Gold game: Date/ time & TV?
You think you're the only imbecile or Luddite on this board? I can top that with my question:
Is SECN+ something I have to go online to find or is it on my cable TV along with the other SECN "channels"? (My use of the word "channels" is doubtless a dead giveaway.)
This is for future use or use if I can't make it to the game as planned.
TIA

ESPN+ ($6 / month) will have it on demand to stream at any hour of any day.
Just like VandyBoys Baseball (most games)
If you have Roku or the like in your living room, it's a breeze to use for any person, any age. Seriously.

Re: Black & Gold game: Date/ time & TV?
Thanks. I'm SUPPOSED to get ESPN+ for free as a result of buying a new iPhone through Verizon. We'll see how long the free part lasts.MrMemorial wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 11:55 amESPN+ ($6 / month) will have it on demand to stream at any hour of any day.

If you can afford a new iPhone, $6 a month is not unreasonable for ESPN+

Re: Black & Gold game: Date/ time & TV?
(I'm gonna regret this post). I thought that i get SEC Network plus, or whatever it's called, without subscribing to ESPN+ and that it is simply SEC network via streaming. GO to watch ESPN and put in your cable provider and you should be in business. (Of course, if you don't have a cable provider you may need the ESPN+ hook up.) I am about to turn 70 so be kind in pointing out what i'm missing please.

If you have SEC Network through your television provider, you should have streaming access to SEC Network+.
ESPN+ is a separate premium streaming service. If you have ESPN+, you also have access to SEC Network+. But the reverse isn't true--if you have access to SEC Network+, you don't automatically get ESPN+.

Re: Black & Gold game: Date/ time & TV?
If you pay the 6 bucks, you get everything on all the ESPN(s) and sometimes the Preds can only be had on there. And everything SEC related. And tons of other games. If you decide that you miss Bryce Drew and want to watch Grand Canyon? Many of their games will be on there. Yes, even "Grand Canyon."

Re: Black & Gold game: Date/ time & TV?
Maybe not, but if I get it free with my Verizon iPhone, why would I pay for it.MrMemorial wrote: ↑Thu Apr 07, 2022 2:48 pm If you can afford a new iPhone, $6 a month is not unreasonable for ESPN+

Calling all Luddites:
The SEC Network will broadcast the Black and Gold Scrimmage on Thursday, April 21 at noon CT/1pm ET. It will be a 2-hour broadcast, probably edited to fit time constraints.
