Yes, and if Vandy beats LSU, it will mean that they have beaten every team in the SEC at least once. They probably doesn't happen often.

2013 - lost to LSU in championship in extra innings
2010 - lost to LSU in 2nd round
2009 - beat LSU in first round but lost to them in championship
2008 - lost to LSU in 2nd round

So you are correct, as Vandy is just 1-5 against them in the Corbin era.

LSU is just so much more successful in Hoover than anyone else, with six tournament championships just since 2008 and even more appearances in the championship game.

This will be their 5th game in the tourney, including the marathon. It has to have some affect on them. I don’t believe they have really worked their pitchers too hard, but they pitched 4 pitchers 4 innings each, so I would think they may not be available. They may start Henry, who started the first game in the tourney but got shelled in less than2 innings....he should be relatively rested compared to the rest of the staff.

Announcers in the Miss/GA game said Devin Fontenot will start. He is a reliever. 3.79 era and 5-1 record. Been in 24 games, with 2 starts. Has 6 saves. Only 40.1 innings. Has given up 26 hits, 18 runs, 17 earned, but given up 20 walks, struck out 39, given up 4 home runs. Impressive, though, is that hitters hit only .178 against him. Also he has hit 8 (in 40.1 innings). Sounds like if we are patient, make him throw pitches, and wait for the right one, we can wear him down. He is averaging only 1.2 innings per game, so he shouldn't be used to going long. Also, this is their 5th game in 5 days (as mentioned above) and has to have some effect.
