Re: Vandy-Xavier Thread
Not feeling very good about this game. Looks like we are reverting to our pre-SEC Tourney form. Either hit it hard right at someone, pop it up, or strike out. Meanwhile, their 47 pound pitcher seems to be getting stronger while Boki seems to be tiring.
Re: Vandy-Xavier Thread
EBjr's swing is just all funked up. He's off-balance, squatting and lunging at the ball. He's just too good to be so screwed up. I don't think Vandy has a hitting coach.

Re: Vandy-Xavier Thread
Boki has performed heroically. Better than we could ever have hoped for. We have simply GOT to put a few more runs on the board so as not to waste it.

Re: Vandy-Xavier Thread
He just seems to be stubbornly trying to elevate when the team needs him on base. No batting coach would tell him to do what he is doing. Could we flash a bunt sign?
Again, he saved a run in the field.

Re: Vandy-Xavier Thread
we are not playing well, bad execution on the hit and run. Wow we are going to have to play much better from here on out. still 1-0 into bottom 5

Don’t have a good feeling at all about this one. Like last night, several squandered opportunities. Xavier is a big inning away from ending VU’s season.

hit by pitch, then a bloop hit and now we are in heap of trouble with no outs and they have 2 on.

Re: Vandy-Xavier Thread
Boki out and they got runners at the corners with one out. Need a double play to get out of this. Reiley in to pitch in relief.

Re: Vandy-Xavier Thread
tied up: Bulger throws them out. Hit by pitch costs us big, but could have been a lot worse. NEED OFFENSE.
