Schelling is a 6-foot-5, 240 pound offensive lineman from Nashville, Tennessee. He is rated 2 stars by Rivals.com and 2 stars by 247sports.com. According to Rivals.com, Schelling committed to the Commodores on June 11, 2019.

Schelling is considered one of the top 2020 high school football prospects in Tennessee. Other than Vanderbilt, some of Schelling‘s most notable offers included Air Force with Clemson, Georgia Tech and Harvard showing interest.

Wesley Schnelling is considered one of the top long snapping prospects in the nation. He was a UCC National Champion at the prestigous Kohl kicking camp. Kohl said of Schnelling, “Schelling is hands down one of the most impressive snappers in the country. He has a massive frame and some of the smoothest mechanics.
