David Daniel has excellent read and react skills. Not afraid of blitzing or laying a heavy hit on a running back. The 3:02 mark in the video below is a prime example of Daniel recognizing where the quarterback was going well before the ball left his hands. This kind of exceptional vision consistently puts him where he needs to be to make plays. Speed isn’t necessarily elite, but he takes good angles and changes directions well translating to a gap closing speed that’s just as good. Played nearly everywhere offensively, blocked three kicks and returned kicks. Can likely play cornerback as well.
