Chief Borders already possesses elite size and strength. As he continues to put on lean muscle at the next level, he could develop into an NFL draft pick. Excellent at reading the play develop and keeping his outside containment. Borders is not easily fooled by misdirection as shown at the 0:55 mark in the video below. Read and reacts well fighting off blocks to take good routes to ball carriers. Seems to have good anticipation skills as well that put him in a better position to make tackles. Consistent in tackling. Displays leadership skills. Cousin of 2020 Georgia commit Jalen Kimber.
