One thing we see repeatedly on film is offensive lineman desperate to stop Christopher Thomas who succumb to holding him and not preventing him from making the tackle. He’s excellent at breaking off blocks and slipping into the backfield to disrupt plays as shown at the 0:55 mark in the video below. Thomas explodes off the ball into the backfield to stop the runner for a big loss. Extremely athletic for his size. Agile with quick feet and good burst to close onto runners. Sometimes over pursues though read and react skills and natural ability overcome being punished for it. Good with his hands and strong upper body that also help with shedding blocks.
