Phillip Webb Scouting Report
Phillip Webb has excellent speed and is quick off the ball. When he sees an opening to the quarterback, he seems to kick it into another level. Good vision and reacts well as the play develops. Insane athleticism to go with the read-and-react skills. Keeps his containment and fights through blocks with strong upper body to get to the tackler. At 03:20 in the video below we see him pursue well from the blindside to sack the quarterback for a huge loss. Webb terrorizing quarterbacks is consistent throughout his film. (DT Yates)
