Valentine is considered one of the top 2020 high school football prospects in Ohio. Other than Kentucky, some of Valentine‘s most notable offers included Duke, Michigan State, Purdue, Rutgers, West Virginia, Wake Forest and Louisville.

Carrington Valentine Scouting Report
Carrington Valentine has great acceleration and tackles well while taking good angles and getting off his blocks. As we see at the 03:14 point in the video below, he does well in bump and run or man to man coverage. He also has a good reaction time at getting his head around and puts his hand in the right place to disrupt passes. Valentine has returned kicks and could contribute there thanks to his speed while he continues to grow. (DT Yates)
