Jackson is considered one of the top 2020 high school football prospects in the Southeast. Other than Kentucky, some of Jackson‘s most notable offers included Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Purdue.

D’Eryk Jackson has a serious nose for the ball. When he tackles opponents, it looks closer to someone getting hit by an ice cream truck. HeÂ’s an extremely good tackler, even in the open field. JacksonÂ’s reaction time and hands are also excellent as shown at 01:57 mark in the video below with a pick he nearly brought back. He appears to have most of the qualities you want in a linebacker and will likely be starting in a few years. (DT Yates)
