A Timothy Smith on the opposing team will keep offensive coordinators up at night. It seems insane that someone over 310 pounds can get that quickly off the line, but he can. One of my favorite plays shows his amazing football awareness. At 2:22 in his highlight video below, not only do we see him slide past the offensive line into the backfield to force a fumble. When Smith sees the ball knocked loose, he pushes the runner back onto the ground to allow his team to retrieve the ball. Double teams may not always work on him. He will free someone else up to make a play if he doesnÂ’t make it himself. (DT Yates)
