Monkell Goodwine Scouting Report
Monkell Goodwine is a Sports Illustrated All_american candidate defensive end with plenty of hype. The video below shows just how disruptive Goodwine can be, including on the first play where he is held and then tackled to the ground by an offensive lineman and yet still comes away with a huge tackle for a loss. Energy player that will make backside pursuit plays because of his motor and his strong frame allowing him to beat offensive linemen with his first few steps. Speed and power based but has the basics of outstanding technique. Type of player that can work his way into the low end of the NFL draft. (Steve Wright)
