James Brockermeyer Scouting Report

James Brockermeyer is a strong offensive tackle with a huge motor who played center in high school. Drives through the defender with his legs and has a strong upper body he uses well to leverage himself with. Great hand usage to pancake opposing players. Has decent speed to block defenders at the second level. Shows good awareness to pick up second defenders as shown in the video below at the 03:01 when Brockermeyer gets off his block to engage the linebacker. Already shows a capability in multiple techniques and in both man and zone blocking. Could be an early contributor at most power five schools. (DT Yates)
