Julian Nixon is a 6-foot-4, 225 pound wide receiver from Roswell, Georgia. Nixon is rated 4 stars by Rivals.com and 4 stars by 247sports.com. According to Rivals.com, Nixon committed to Tennessee on April 28, 2020.

Nixon is considered one of the top 2021 high school football prospects in the state of Georgia. In the 1990s Nixon's father, Reginald, played with Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt at Middle Tennessee.

In addition to Tennessee, some of Nixon‘s more notable offers included Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Soth Carolina.

Julian Nixon has an excellent frame that makes him one of the larger receivers in the class. Already a good weight and size with room for adding lean mass. Excels at going up for jump balls. Physical and makes it hard to take him down with good separational quickness. Adjusts well to the ball, good awareness and helps his quarterback by coming back to it. Fights well in traffic with excellent balance that fights for yards after contact as shown in the video below in the first play where he drags four defenders for nearly 20 extra yards.
