Landon Jackson is a 6-foot-6, 240 pound defensive lineman from Texarkana, Texas. Jackson is rated 4 stars by Rivals.com and 4 stars by 247sports.com. According to Rivals.com, Jackson committed to LSU on April 26, 2020.

Jackson is considered one of the top 2021 high school football prospects in the state of Texas. As a junior Jackson helped lead his team a state championship while tallying 111 tackles, 28 tackles for loss and 17 sacks.

In addition to LSU, some of Jackson‘s more notable offers included Florida State, Nebraska, Alabama, LSU, Arkansas, Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Baylor, Vanderbilt and Oregon.

Excellent awareness and is fluid in his movements with quick read and react time. As shown below at the 00:41 mark, Jackson is keyed in on the quarterback before reading the screen to back off and break up the pass. Explosive off the line. Already extremely good size and length with room to add more lean mass. Solid tackler who takes superb angles to the ball carrier.
