Marlen Sewell Scouting Report

Marlen Sewell is an athletic defensive back who came on strong late in the recruiting process and displays impressive upside and potential. Size at 6-foot and 190 pounds means he could play a hybrid safety position or be deployed at corner. Fluid in his movement and the look of a player that could challenge for playing time straight away. In the video below, Sewell is seen making play after play. His second interception is especially impressive as he is not fooled by the reverse pass and is glued to his wide receiver as the ball is thrown. Looks capable of winning most battles in the air.
