Fernando Garza Scouting Report
Fernando Garza is a huge tight end prospect out of Katy who he helped lead to a 12-1 record as a junior and who are currently 7-1 looking for another deep playoff run. He's a Sports Illustrated All American candidate that can definitely block and seems to enjoy pancaking opposing defenders. Has adequate speed for someone his size with soft hands. That size and route running ability give him the potential to develop into a monster. Garza leverages himself exceptionally while blocking and seals his blocks well as shown in the video below at the 02:00 mark. Has good awareness of where the ball carrier is at and has NFL potential.
