Alan Wright is a ball hawk with excellent read and react skills. Superb quickness to get out of his breaks. Speed that allows him to cover a great distance. Wright used it to return kicks as well as interceptions. Solid coverage skills. His time at receiver translated to defensive back where he does well at denying opposing receivers any chance at jump ball contests. Physical with good tackling ability. Will likely make quarterbacks think twice about throwing in his direction. In the video below at the 00:41 mark, Wright plays perfect coverage to jump the route for an interception with quick directional changing speed. This looks to be a common occurrence for him.
