MJ Daniels reads the play well and makes excellent breaks on the ball in coverage. Ball hawk and a dangerous threat to score when he gets his hands on it. Solid tackler who can both lay a hit and drive through the carrier. At the 1:24 mark in the video below Daniels is not fooled by a double throw and speeds down the sidelines 65 yards for a score. At receiver he showed his separational speed that can burn defenses. Such a threat with the ball in his hands Daniels was also used in the wildcat. Returned kicks well where he was also capable of bringing them back. All around athletic playmaker.
