Trevonte Rucker is a talented athlete who played quarterback and defense in high school that projects as a receiver. He ran the option extremely well and his elusiveness makes him difficult to bring down in the open field. The 0:24 mark in the video below is a good example where he makes multiple defenders miss before breaking free to the corner for a huge run. Physical blocker at wide receiver. His freshman varsity tape is filled with action at that position. He’s a strong route runner that does well at competing for balls up in the air. Rucker is talented both after the catch and after contact with excellent hands.
