Kris Abrams-Draine is a 6-foot-1, 175 pound receiver who had offers from Nebraska, LSU, Florida, FSU, Oklahoma and Oregon committed to the Tigers on Friday.

He was once LSU’s first commit of the class and moved to Ole Miss who lost out on him after hiring head coach Lane Kiffin. Abrams-Draine helped lead Spanish Fort to the 6A championship after being moved from receiver to quarterback earlier in the season. He ran for 1,745 yards, 19 touchdowns while throwing for three scores, returning kicks, punting and scoring off both his picks at cornerback. It’s a big turn around for a class put together on short notice as Mizzou wasn’t even in his list of seven finalists.

It’s no wonder Draine was so highly pursued, look at his concentration at 04:18 in the video below. In double coverage he gets tripped up and the play looks over when the pass is deflected by a defender. He leans up off the ground over the defender to make an incredible catch. Multiple times we see him seeming to be contained only to easily juke multiple defenders and turning it into a big gain. Strong in coverage and going up for balls.

Draine is rated 3-stars on both Rivals.com and 247Sports.com. However, based on his impressive offer list, 14Powers.com has him as a 4-star player.
