Could you imagine one of Alabama’s players throwing an opponent’s shoe during a game? No, you couldn’t. Why? Because Nick Saban has developed a sense of self-discipline in his players and Dan Mullen hasn’t done the same for the Gators. Because of that, the Gators have no chance of making it to the College Playoff this season, even if they somehow beat Alabama on Saturday and that’s not going to happen. Why is it not going to happen? Because even if Florida could somehow play a close game they won’t be allowed to win. There are millions of dollars at stake for the SEC and member schools. If Florida won the conference might have no team in the playoff. Alabama is already treated with favor by the SEC officials but I think some that just comes with long-term success. I don’t think it’s premeditated on the official’s part. The Crimson Tide should win this game handily.
