It was a bad year for SEC football in the state of Tennessee. Vanderbilt and Tennessee have combined for just two wins this season, both by the Vols. The good news is that one of these two teams will get a win on Saturday. I’m thinking it’ll be Tennessee. Vandy has just been beyond bad. One concern for the Vols would be that the interim coach has had two weeks to prepare for this game. Vandy does have a very capable but young quarterback in freshman Ken Seals. Tennessee has a much better defense and despite the Vols struggles they’ve been more competitive in games than Vandy.
Our Preseason Prediction
Tennessee 28, Vanderbilt 14
