Challenges for Auburn
In Alabama, the Tigers are facing the SEC’s best offense and defense. The good news (for winning chances) is that Nick Saban won’t be in the sidelines. He’s their alpha male and his mere presence gives his team a lift. Maybe it’s because his players are terrified of making an error.
The 2019 game was an amazing offensive spectacle with the Tigers prevailing 48-45. Can Auburn win in Tuscaloosa? That hasn’t happened since 2010 but playing before a much smaller crowd could have a positive effect for the Tigers. This one will be tough though. This season Bama basically returned its entire 2019 offense. Their defense has taken a step back compared to the 2019 unit but they are still the best in the conference.
