Challenges for South Carolina
Wow, what a mess. Dealing with the COVID 19 crap is bad enough. Now these players who have worked so hard to win at South Carolina will see their head coach booted out. What’s crazy is Muschamp is considered a defensive guru yet his team gave up 159 points over the past three games. Some teams won’t give that up in a season.
Several years ago back when Steve Spurrier stepped down an interim head coach was named. At that time the State of South Carolina was also dealing with the devastation of a hurricane. This is kind of a similar situation as now with the epidemic going on and Muschamp being let go. That team, led by their interim head coach Shawn Elliott, defeated Vanderbilt. That provided a positive experience for the many Gamecock fans who had been under distress for several days. This Bobo led team can do the same thing on Saturday. Beat Missouri and show the Gamecock nation that all will be okay.
