Challenges for Vanderbilt

In Florida, Vanderbilt will be facing the most prolific offense in the east. The Gators average 45 points a game but allow 30 points per contest. Gator QB Kyle Trask is considered a Heisman Trophy candidate. Vandy won’t be able to shut down Florida but if they can slow things down a little while their offense continues its improvement, they might be able to keep the score close. The first challenge for this game is for the ‘Dores is to score a darn touchdown in the first quarter. They haven’t done that once in six first quarters this season. There are three games that Vandy might have won this season if it had scored at least a touchdown in the first quarter.
