This is probably the biggest game of the regular season for the SEC. The implications of this game are enormous for SEC Championship Game and college playoff seeding. You’ve got Alabama’s explosive offense going up against Georgia’s wall-of-steel defense. There’s probably more pressure for Georgia to win this one. If Alabama loses they’ll likely win out the regular season and still get the West berth in the SEC Championship Game. If Georgia loses they still have to play Florida and a loss to the Gators might knock Georgia out of the league’s title game. I think Alabama somehow wins this one. Keep in mind too that if Bama wins they very likely end up playing Georgia again in the SEC title game. It’s hard to beat a good team twice in a season. Bama has pretty much owned Georgia since Saban became head coach having won five in a row. This one will be close though and is probably really more like a toss-up.

UPDATE: Nick Saban has tested positive for COVID 19 and will not coach in this game. Steve Sarkisian will likely be the acting coach for this game. I think Bama still wins as this may give Tide players a little more motivation to “win one for the Gipper.”

GAMEDAY UPDATE TO UPDATE:
Nick Saban will now coach on the sidelines for Alabama.
